Adeline Imbrognio Davis

Adeline (Imbrognio) Davis, 84, of Fairview Twp., New Cumberland, passed away in her residence on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.

She was retired from the West Shore School District where she was a Cafeteria Assistant at Red Land High School and formerly worked in the Engineering office of Bell Telephone Company. Adeline graduated from the former Swatara Twp. High School and attended Shippensburg State Teachers College. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland, American Legion Post 143 Auxiliary, New Cumberland and AARP. Adeline enjoyed camping, reading and cross word puzzles.

Adeline was born in Hummelstown to the late Clement and Minnie (LaCava) Imbrognio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph Imbrognio and Clement Imbrognio, Jr., and in laws, Louise Doric, Benjamin Davis, Charles Brown, Frank Szobocsan and Pauline Davis.

She is survived by her husband of more than 57 years, Kenneth J. Davis; children, Thomas G. and wife Beth of New Cumberland, Robert W. of New Cumberland and Karen J. Davis of Etters; two sisters, Rachael Brown of Shermansdale and Phyllis Szobocsan of Steelton; grandchildren, Casey Davis and Spencer Davis; Brother in law Frank Doric of Linglestown; sisters in law, Ruth Imbrognio of Harrisburg and Jean Imbrognio of Harrisburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 pm on Monday, November 28, 2016 in St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge St. New Cumberland, PA. Viewing will be from 12:30 - 1:30 pm Monday in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.
