Agnes I. Hess, 88, of Mechanicsburg died Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Golden Living Center – West Shore.
She was a retired Administrative Assistant from the office of Bertram Zumoff, MD, Camp Hill. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and Daughters of the American Colonists. An enthusiastic genealogist, she was and antique dealer and ceramicist.
She was born July 18, 1928 in Cameron, WV to the late Parker and Cleo (Gray) Ingram. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Margalee Baker and Barbara Bechtel; and a brother, Edward Ingram.
She is survived by her husband of seventy-one years, Rupert F. Hess; a son, Gregory R. Hess (Toinetter “Toni”) of Mechanicsburg; daughter, Janice E. Muza (Robert) of Dillsburg; three granddaughters, Kathryn Megonnell, Kimberly Berrell, and Megan Hess; four great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Twp.
