Alberto Baez

Alberto Baez, 53, of New Cumberland, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021 in his residence.

He was a collections agent with Peerless Credit Services, Inc., Middletown and a graduate of William Penn High School, Harrisburg and Harrisburg Area Community College.

Alberto enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping, rafting, tubing and gardening; he enjoyed antiques, house music and dancing; he loved animals, had a great sense of humor and was kind to everybody he met. But more than anything, he loved his family and extended family.

Alberto was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, the son of Ana M. Muniz and the late Carlos Baez.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his husband James L. Cassell; siblings, Rosa Hawn, Norma Marrero, Angelo Gonzalez, David Gonzalez, Orlando Gonzalez, Judith Gonzalez, Hector Baez, Enid Narvaez, Alexander Baez Muniz and Alicai Benitez; and many nieces and nephews.

Due to the current restrictions on attendance at funerals, services will be held at a future date when all can gather and remember Alberto. Please continue to monitor this website and our Facebook page for future services.
