Alda V. "Ellie" Turnbaugh

Alda V. Turnbaugh, “Ellie”, 52 of Newport died Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Holy Spirit Hospital.

She was a member of Duncannon Sporting Association.

She was born September 22, 1963 in Merced, CA to Rodney E. Smith and the late Mary A. (Armagost) Smith.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, John; son, Anthony M. Smith (Paulette) of Owings Mills, MD; daughter, Orielyn A. Turnbaugh (Harold Agneta) of Newport; a step-son, Christopher R. Turnbaugh of Newport; sister, Nona Runkle of York; and grandson, Ian.

Viewing will be from 10am until funeral services at 11am Thursday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
