Anita Myers Leo, 92 of Hershey, formerly of Camp Hill passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 28.
Anita was a 1943 graduate of the former Steelton High School. She retired from the New Cumberland Army Depot after 30 years, spending her retired time as a volunteer for Hospice. Anita was a lifelong member of the Centenary United Methodist Church of Steelton where she taught Sunday school for decades. Anita was a lifelong avid reader and loved crossword and jigsaw puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles J. and Vera(Reeves) Myers, a sister, Alwilda, a brother Raymond and her husband of 61 years Arman F. Leo.
Anita is survived by a son, Scott C. and his wife, Michele (Gilliland) Leo of Hershey, a granddaughter Jaclyn Leo Hershfeld (Robert) of Parkton, MD, two great grandsons, William and Colin and a brother Marvin (Mike) Myers, Harrisburg.
Funeral services will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, July 2, 2017 in Centenary United Methodist Church, 1010 Orchard Dr. Steelton, PA 17113. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Sunday in the church. Burial will be at 10 am on Monday, July 3, 2017 in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Twp., PA.
