Ann L. Gedmark

Ann L. (Cookie) Gedmark, 79, of Fairview Twp. died Monday, August 1, 2016 at Clairmont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Middlesex Twp.

A 1955 graduate of Altoona Senior High School, she was a retired bookkeeper from Firestone Motors, Lemoyne. She was a member of Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lewisberry. She served as secretary for the Fairmont Residents Council and previously was active in Kiwanis and the sports booster club at Red Land High School. She enjoyed ceramics, crochet, and embroidery.

She was born May 5, 1937 in Altoona to the late Grant W. and Catherine (Robison) Conrad.

She is survived by two daughters, Ann M. Gedmark, (Craig Fisher) of Anchorage, AK and Mary E. Howe (Timothy) of Northfield, MN; a sister, Janice (Cappy) Blair of Altoona; nephew, Vance Blair of Pittsburgh; and grandson, Daniel Fisher of Anchorage, AK.

Visitation will be from 10am until memorial services at 11am Monday, August 8th at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
