Anne Blazer Negley

Anne Blazer Negley, 93, of Camp Hill passed away Thursday, December 19, 2013, at home.
Born June 19, 1920 in Enhaut, she was the daughter of the late Charles “Karl” and Blanche Blazer. Anne was the fifth born of ten children in the Blazer family. She was preceded in death by her husband John L. Negley Jr. in 1953; her companion Robert Herr; four brothers, Phil, Frank, Carl, and Crist Blazer; two sisters, Marie Durrman and Pauline Soutner.
Anne retired after more than 30 years from the former Herr Welding Supply in Harrisburg. She enjoyed traveling and will always be remembered for her warm smile. Most of all, she treasured the time she spent with family and friends.
She is survived by a daughter, Jeanne of Camp Hill; two sons, Theodore of Camp Hill, and John III and his wife Christine of Harrisburg. Also surviving are two sisters, Helen Langhurst of Washington, PA and Catherine Jenkins of CA; a brother, Joseph Blazer of Florida. Anne also is survived by four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday at 10:30 am at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1303 Bridge St., New Cumberland, with the Rev. Anne K. Myers officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Fairview Twp.
Visitation will be held 9:30 – 10:30 AM on Friday at the funeral home.
