Arthur P. Hall, 93, of Harrisburg, died Friday, February 14, 2025.
An Army veteran, he was a retired Architectural Engineer from the former Bell Telephone. He was a graduate of Lower Paxton High School and former member of Linglestown United Methodist Church.
A 33rd degree Mason, Art joined DeMolay as a boy. He was a member of Perseverance Lodge F&AM, Harrisburg Consistory, AASR, Zembo Shrine where he served as Chief Aide to the Potentate and was Luncheon Club President. Art was also a member of the National Sojourners, Zembo Jesters and the Zembo Sports Car Unit.
A drummer since grade school, he was in the Bell Telephone Band, Potentate’s Dance Band, Zembo Orchestra, String Band, and various other Harrisburg area bands.
He was born May 4, 1931, in Sunbury to the late Elwood and Evelyn Lucille (Brunner) Hall. He was the widower of Esther M. Hall and preceded in death by his sister, Nancy McFadden.
He is survived by his children, Michael L. Hall (Jody) of Harrisburg and Patty L. Miller of Harrisburg; grandchildren, Amanda Kerstetter (Terry), Nathan Hall (Jamie), Jason Miller, (Cristie), and Megan Haas (Jared); great-grandchildren, Cayden Hall and Makenzie and Shyanne Kerstetter.
Viewing will be at 10:00am with a Masonic Service at 10:45am followed by funeral services at approximately 11:00am Wednesday, February 19th at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Burial will follow in Willow Grove Cemetery, Linglestown.
