Arthur "Uncle Art" Keim, 75, of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, passed away on May 15, 2024 in Hershey, PA. He was born on May 21, 1948 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Clyde and Charlotte (Smith) Keim. Art was a proud Vietnam veteran in the United States Army. During his service he was awarded several medals and badges of distinguished honors such as; a Bronze Star, U.S. Army Air Medal, Army Commendation Medal and a Combat Infantry Badge. He worked as a Machine Operator at PPG for 40 years until his retirement. Art loved attending any and all sprint car races, especially the Outlaws. He loved watching all sports, and was a loyal Steelers, Penn State, Phillies and Celtics fan. But his favorite games to watch were those of his nieces and nephews.
Arthur is survived by a brother, Robert Keim; a sister, Reba Reed; 15 nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 3 brothers, Wayne, Stan, and Clyde Keim and a sister, Charlotte Lindsey.
Military honors and committal will take place at 3 pm on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
