Barbara Ann Bell

Barbara Ann Bell, 68, of Lower Paxton Twp. died Friday, January 11, 2013 at Carolyn Croxton Slane Residence, a service of Hospice of Central PA.
She retired as Supervisor of the Chemistry and Hematology Department of Harrisburg Hospital in 1999 after thirty years of service. She graduated from Wheaton High School in Maryland in 1962 and Juniata College in 1966. She was an avid reader of mystery and adventure novels, actively participated in arts and crafts, and enjoyed entertaining with family and friends, and loved the numerous Scotch Terrier dogs that she had throughout her life.
She was born April 14, 1944 in Washington, D.C. to the late Philip and Marjorie (Lismer) Bridges.
She is survived by her husband John J. Bell; two sisters, Janet Cauffiel (Thomas) of Gaithersburg, MD and their daughter Kristin and Carolyn Bridges of Cromwell, CT.
A memorial service will be scheduled at the convenience of the family.
