Barbara J. Hoffman

Barbara J. Hoffman, 72, of Duncannon, passed away early on Monday, February 12, 2024 at West Shore Hospital, Hampden Township. She was the daughter of Doris (Arnold) Myers and the late George R. Myers Sr, born on December 23, 1951 in Harrisburg.

A 1970 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School, Camp Hill, Barb would go on to work as a clerk at the former Dauphin Deposit Bank, Harrisburg. She and her husband were longtime members of Camp Hill United Methodist Church, and she enjoyed nothing more than being with her family. She and her sister-in-law, June, would seek out all the Bingo spots in the area, and Barb’s temperament was always easy going and low-key. As life progressed, she would proudly tell you that her grandchildren were her greatest joy.

Surviving Barb is her mother, Doris J. Myers, formerly of Camp Hill; a daughter and son, Angela Snow of Mechanicsburg and Jon A. Hoffman of Camp Hill; grandchildren, Justin Hoffman, Damian Snow, Gabriel Sage and Sulaye Thomas; siblings, Randy Myers (Pamela) of Harrisburg, Keith B. Myers (Bonita) of Etters, and Trudy Myers of Carlisle; a sister-in-law, June Myers of Camp Hill; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur “Bill” Hoffman; and brother, George R. Myers Jr.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Barb’s final resting place will be alongside her husband in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg.
