Barbara Ann Snell

Barbara Ann Snell, 88, of New Cumberland went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 25, 2025. Born on March 17, 1936, in Camp Hill, PA, to the late J.C. Lester and Marian (Stallsmith) Holler. She dedicated her life to helping others, embarking on a meaningful career as a Physical Therapy Assistant. She spent 35 years providing care and support for disabled children at Tri-County Easterseals Society, now known as Keystone Children and Family Services, where her compassion and dedication left a lasting impact on countless lives.

Barb was a charter member of the New Life Church in New Cumberland, where she not only taught Sunday school for 35 years but also filled the sanctuary with her beautiful voice singing in the choir. Her Christian faith was the cornerstone of her life, leading her to share Christ with everyone she knew. She also loved art in many forms including painting, ceramics, and gardening.

Barb is survived by her loving daughters, Diane (Martin) Schoffstall and Jan (Darryl) Byers; her son, Scott (Elizabeth) Snell and a proud lineage of grandchildren: Hannah, Hillary, Michael, Greta, Anthony, Zachary, and Olivia, along with seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death in addition to her parents by her beloved husband, Hobart Snell in 2018; brothers, Robert, Kermit, and Charles Holler and sister, Marian Sariano.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 11:30 AM -12 PM at New Life Church, 530 Big Spring Rd., New Cumberland, PA US 17070. The funeral will start promptly afterward at 12 PM, the burial will take place at Rolling Green Cemetery in Camp Hill.
