Barbara T. "Bobbie" Brown

Barbara T. “Bobbie” Brown, 59, of New Cumberland, died Saturday, October 19, 2013, at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.

She retired as an Emergency Services Dispatcher for the Police Dept. at the former DDSP, New Cumberland and was a 1972 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School, Camp Hill, and performed with “Up With People” during the 1970’s. Born on October 23, 1954, in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late David G. and Margaret (Beckley) Brown.

Surviving are a sister, Virginia A. “Ginger” Brown of Camp Hill; a niece, Jennifer R. Hatton of Parkesburg; a grand nephew, John.

Services will be held at 11 AM Saturday in Eberly’s Mill Church of God, 115 Creek Road, Camp Hill with the Rev. James Moss Jr. officiating. Private burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg.
