Barry Lee Iorfido, 61, of Lewisberry, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at his residence. Son of the late Albert and Jill (Frank) Iorfido, he was born on January 6, 1958 in Franklin, PA.
Barry graduated from Grove City College in 1980 with a degree in electrical engineering; he worked at Istech, Inc., a robotics company in Dover, PA. Outside the office, Barry enjoyed remodeling and flipping homes. He was extremely active – both physically and spiritually. He had a passion for exercising and fitness and biked as much as possible; he also competed in adventure races throughout the mid-state. He exercised his mind too, attending trivia nights whenever possible. Barry gave his time to his church and to God’s Helping Hands, a ministry that helps the less fortunate with home improvements and repairs. His real love was for his family; whether it was time spent together in Myrtle Beach, or just hanging out by the pool, Barry enjoyed being with those closest to him.
Surviving is his wife of 36 years, Ellen M. (Clippinger) Iorfido; his children, Lindsay Zajdel (husband, Sean) of Camp Hill, and Thomas Iorfido of Norristown; a brother and sister, Gary Iorfido (wife, May Lee) of Camp Hill, and Bonnie Iorfido of Carlisle; and his in-laws, Ethel and Harold Clippinger of New Cumberland.
A public service will be held at 11AM on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Camp Hill United Methodist Church, Camp Hill.
