Beatrice L. "Bob" Mulvey

July 30, 1919 — January 11, 2017

Beatrice L. Mulvey, 97, of Mechanicsburg, and formerly of Camp Hill, and Hernando, Florida died peacefully at Bethany Village on Wednesday, January 11, 2017. Everyone knew her by her nickname “Bob”.

She was born July 30, 1919 in Rochester, New York to Roswell C. Laub, and Beatrice E. (Gardner) Laub.

She was a graduate of Webber College Graduate School of Business. In 1945 she married the love of her life Glenn O. Mulvey. Over the next 37 years his business career took them to 13 different communities. In some of those communities she per sued her career interests in others she was a devoted homemaker to her three children. She was active in a number of service clubs, and professional organizations in the communities where they lived. She enjoyed entertaining. She loved the outdoors, particularly the beach, and travel. She and her husband travelled to 6 continents, and 81 different countries. She loved golf and was a member of the West Shore Country Club, and the Citrus Hills Golf and Country Club (Hernando, Florida).

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Carol Jane Kossick of Scottsdale, Arizona, and her husband Glenn O. Mulvey. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Dorothy (Atmus) Mulvey of Longmeadow, MA; a son Bruce D. Mulvey and wife, Kathleen of Boiling Springs; daughter Andrea Mulvey-Jones and husband, Fred of San Jose, CA; son Glenn O. Mulvey, Jr. and wife, Brenda of East Berlin, PA; and two grandchildren Christopher B. Mulvey and wife, Andrea of The Woodlands, TX, and Amanda M. Mulvey of Ridley Park, PA; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be sent to the Care Assurance Endowment Fund at Bethany Village 325 Wesley Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055, or her church Camp Hill Presbyterian, 101 North 23rd Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
