Benjamin "Ben" F. Davis, Jr.

February 8, 1961 — February 20, 2019

Benjamin “Ben” F. Davis, Jr., beloved son and brother, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at his home in Etters. The son of Shirley A., and the late Benjamin F. Davis, Sr., Ben was born on February 8, 1961, in Harrisburg.

Ben was a graduate of Cedar Cliff High School (1979), Camp Hill, and also obtained his technical degree from Cumberland-Perry Area Vocational Technical School, Mechanicsburg. He was an accomplished skier and kayaker, loved to fish, and in recent years took an interest in birdwatching. He enjoyed animals of all kinds, especially his two cats, Tabatha and Samantha.

Surviving Ben is his mother, Shirley A. Davis, of Camp Hill; his sisters, Donna J. (Bernie) Carlson, of Dillsburg, and Sharon K. (William) Eppley, of Summerdale; nieces and nephews, Amber, Jared, Troy, Tyler and Jessie; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father and namesake, Benjamin F. Davis, Sr.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-4PM on March 2, 2019, at Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. A private inurnment will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg, at the convenience of the family.
