Benjamin G. Crawford, 97, of Etters, PA, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2025. He was born on October 20, 1927, in Baltimore, Maryland, Benjamin lived a life rich in love, service, and dedication.
A proud veteran of the United States Army, Ben served during World War II, embodying the spirit of bravery and sacrifice. He worked at Halls Motor until his retirement. He was a longstanding member of the Etters VFW Post 537 and a faithful parishioner of Holy Infant Parish in Manchester, PA .
He is survived by his sons, S. Craig (Sherri) Crawford and Brian Crawford; his cherished granddaughter, Christa (Matt) Thompson; grandsons, Christopher (Elisabeth) Crawford and Luke Vaughn; and his great-grandchildren Sophia, Adeline, and Brenin. He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Dolores Crawford in 2007.
A viewing will be held on February 27, 2025, at Parthemore Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass will be celebrated in his honor on February 28, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Holy Infant Parish, followed by his burial at Emanuel Cemetery at 11:30 AM in Fairview Township, Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Benjamin’s name is requested to Hospice of Central Pennsylvania.
