Bernard C. Bendrick, 86, of The Woods at Cedar Run, Camp Hill died Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Homeland Center, Harrisburg.

An Army Veteran of the Korean War, he was a retired Brakeman from the former Conrail. An avid outdoorsman he enjoyed baking and gardening.

He was born January 4, 1931 in New Ringgold, PA to the late Joseph A. and Josephine A. (Kurpes) Bendrick. He was the widower of Helen D. Bendrick. He was also preceded in death by his companion Nancy L. Foltz and brother, Leonard J. of Dauphin.

He is survived by a sister, Dorothy K. Bailey (Curtis) of New Ringold and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30am Wednesday at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Twp.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Homeland Center, 1901 N. Fifth Street, Harrisburg, PA 17102 or to the charity of one’s choice.
