Blanche R. Kennedy

Blanche R. Kennedy, 82, of Mechanicsburg died Thursday, November 01, 2018 at her home surrounded by family.

A 1954 graduate of Mechanicsburg High School, she enjoyed participating in the class luncheons. She retired from Book of the Month Club after more than 31 years. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Shiremanstown. Her pleasure came from family and friends.

She was born April 8, 1936 in Mechanicsburg to the late John J. and F. Romaine (Raudabaugh) Sheely. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Ryan Kennedy and brother Roy Sheely.

She is survived by two sons, Eugene L (Karen) and Carl A. Kennedy both of Mechanicsburg; a very special friend and companion for many years, Lloyd W. Bucher of Mechanicsburg; a brother, John R. Sheely (Sara) of Mechanicsburg; granddaughter, Heather N Kohler (Keith); and two great-grandchildren, Brianna R. and Cody E.; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10am until funeral services at 11am Tuesday at St. John Lutheran Church, 44 W Main St, Shiremanstown, PA 17011. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
