*SERVICE UPDATE*
Memorial services for Bradford Robert Holmes, 56, of Allison Park, who passed on April 11, 2018, will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, April 30, 2018, at Hampton Presbyterian Church, 2942 E. Hardies Road, Gibsonia, with a luncheon following the service.
Bradford Robert Holmes, 56, of Allison Park, PA, and formerly of New Cumberland, PA, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 in his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was an Electronics Engineer with Dynamics, Inc., Cheswick, PA; a member of Hampton Presbyterian Church, Gibsonia, PA; and an avid H.A.M. Radio operator.
Brad was a former Troop Leader for Boy Scouts of America, Troop #653, Gibsonia, and assisted multiple scouts, including both of his sons, in becoming Eagle Scouts. He enjoyed using his H.A.M. Radio skills to help others with community service.
Brad was born in Harrisburg, the son of W. Arlene Holmes of New Cumberland and the late Robert Holmes.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Kimberly L. (Slagle) Holmes; children, Benjamin R. Holmes and wife Vy of Lancaster, Nathaniel D. Holmes of Allison Park, Lindsey E. Holmes of Niles, OH, and Amanda L. Holmes of Pittsburgh; two brothers, Kenton D. Holmes and wife, Kathy of Lewisberry, and Timothy A. Holmes and wife, Beth of Enola.
A memorial service will be held at 2PM on Friday, April 20, 2018 at Community United Methodist Church, 16th and Bridge Sts., New Cumberland, PA 17070. Visitation with the family will held immediately after the service with a luncheon at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are respectfully requested to either Hampton Presbyterian Church, 2942 East Hardies Road, Gibsonia, PA 15044, with “Youth Missions” in the memo line or to the Boy Scouts of America.
An additional memorial service will be held in the Allison Park Area in the near future.
