Bradley T. Bert

Bradley T. Bert, 66, of New Cumberland, passed away on Thanksgiving evening, November 26, 2020 in his residence surrounded by his loving family.

He was a retired transportation specialist with DDSP, Fairview Twp., a U.S. Air Force veteran and a 1972 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School. Brad was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Highland Park, Camp Hill and a long-time member and officer of the New Cumberland Lions Club.

Brad was born in Harrisburg to the late Silas E. Bert and Beulah (Shaffer) Williams (Kenneth) of Orange City, FL.

In addition to his mother, Brad is survived by his wife of 45 years, Marti (Hanlen) Bert; daughters, Becki M. Campanaro (Andrew) of Mt. Lebanon, PA and Danielle N. O’Haren (Matthew) of New Cumberland; brother Christian Bert (Gena) of Elizabethtown; step siblings, Ann Weibel of New Cumberland, Michael Sim of Metairie, FLLA and Patrick Sim of Phoenixville, PA; grandchildren, Caleb M. Campanaro, Anthony A.J. Campanaro, Gabrielle R. O’Haren and Connor J. O’Haren; and several nieces and nephews.

A private committal service with military honors will be held at the convenience of the family. A celebration of Brad’s life will be set for a future date when COVID19 attendance restrictions are less restrictive.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions in Brad’s memory to either ALS Association, Greater Philadelphia Chapter, 321 Norristown Road - Suite 260 - Ambler, PA 19002 or to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church Organ Fund, 1610 Carlisle Rd. Camp Hill, PA 17011.
