Brandon David "Beanie" Bechdel

Brandon David "Beanie" Bechdel, 25, of New Cumberland, died Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at his home.

He was formerly a line cook at Nick's 114 Cafe, New Cumberland. "Beanie" was known for having the most kind, fun loving and gentle spirit. And most importantly, his extreme passion for skateboarding.

Born on May 30, 1992, he was the son of Nanette Schae-Bloom of New Cumberland, and the late Richard L. Bechdel.

In addition to his mother, surviving are his maternal grandparents, William and Elaine Schaeffer of Bellefonte; paternal grandparents, Frank and Margaret Bechdel of Bellefonte; his aunt, Courtney Schaeffer of Carlisle, Aunt Misty Hauser and Uncle Jeff Bechdel, two half-brothers, Owen and Rilee Bechdel, and half-sister, Tess Bechdel all of Karthaus; his many cousins including Natalie Shambaugh, Robert Schaeffer and Paul Schaeffer.

A celebration of Beanie’s life will be held at 3 PM on Friday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Visitation will be from 1:30 – 3 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
