Brendan G. Rackley, 29, of Camp Hill, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020 in his residence.
He was a student at Drexel University, Philadelphia and a graduate of East Pennsboro High School.
Brendan was born in Silver Spring, MD, the son of Georgia (Diehl) Rackley of Enola and Joel A. Rackley of Austin, TX. He loved the outdoors with trail running and hiking. Majoring in chemistry, he thrived on his research projects. Brendan’s intelligence, humor, abundance of heart and sensitivity to marginalized individuals will be missed forever. Although we are heartbroken with his loss, there is solace in knowing Brendan has winged his way to a final peace.
In addition to his parents, Brendan is survived by his brother Nicholas and wife Laura of New Haven, CT; maternal grandfather William E. Diehl of Allentown; and several aunts, uncles and cousins who treasured him. His family wishes to thank the friends he leaves and cherished, who brought him happiness and willingly accompanied him through the darkest of times.
Due to the government restrictions associated with the COVID 19 pandemic, a private virtual service will be held in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Private committal will be held in Greenwood Cemetery, Allentown.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial contribution in Brendan’s memory to JFT Recovery & Veterans Support, 300 Market St. Lemoyne, PA 17043.
