Brian D. Semuta, loving father, brother and son, 33, of New Cumberland, died Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Pinnacle Health Hospital, Harrisburg.
He was a dedicated employee of the PA Turnpike Commission, Middletown, PA and a member of the American Legion Post 143, New Cumberland, PA. Volunteer of the New Cumberland Saints football and cheerleading programs.
Born on September 17, 1981, Camp Hill, PA, he was the son of Dave and Karen Semuta, also of New Cumberland. Graduate of Cedar Cliff High School, attended West Virginia University.
In addition to his parents, surviving are his daughter, Averi Taylor, and his son, Delaney Semuta; his brother and sister in law, Jeff and Katie Semuta of Camp Hill; his paternal grandmother, Christine Semenkow and his step-grandfather, Joseph Semenkow of Camp Hill; his nephew, Henry Semuta. Brian was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, George Semuta, and his maternal grandparents, Jack and Linda Adams, and two uncles, Skip Semuta and Pete Adams.
A celebration of Brian’s life will be held from 2 – 6 PM on Saturday, March 28th, at Gullifty’s Restaurant, Camp Hill. Think of this as a Brian themed party, WVU and Superhero attire welcomed; pictures and stories encouraged.
The family has requested no flowers; contributions in honor of Brian’s memory may be made to the “Brian Semuta Memorial Trust Fund”, PO Box 46, New Cumberland, PA 17070 or at http://briansemutamemorial.mydagsite.com All gifts will be held in trust for the future needs of his children.
