Brian J. Cholewski, 52, of New Cumberland, passed away Friday, December 23, 2016 in his residence.
He was a Telecommunications Technician with Electech, Lewisberry and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a former New Cumberland Midget Baseball and Football coach; an excellent cook; and an avid Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers and Penguins fan. But more than anything, Brian loved his family, especially his grandchildren.
Brian was born in Beaver Falls, PA to the late John and Patricia (Wilson) Cholewski.
He is survived by his wife Gwendolyn (Gudz) Cholewski; his children, Brittany N. Caiazzo and husband Mark of Lewisberry and Zachary J. Cholewski and wife Taryn of Lewisberry; a sister Marcia Palaich and husband Bill of Clermont, FL; his five grandchildren, Maxx, Ally, Charlie, Jocelyn and Addilyn; and his niece Courtney.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Visitation with Brian’s family will be one hour prior to service time in the funeral home. Private inurnment with military honors will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Twp., Lebanon County, PA.
If able, those attending the service on Tuesday evening are encouraged to honor Brian’s memory by wearing black and gold or any Pittsburgh professional sports team attire.
