Bryan Everett “Gope” Gopear, 40, of Lewisberry, died Sunday, November 20th, 2016, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family and his dog, Wynsten, who was his best friend, after a two and half year battle with Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
Born on October 6th, 1976, in East Pennsboro Twp., he was the son of Dennis C. and Karen L. (Groves) Gopear of Lewisberry. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and also his Uncle Warren Groves Jr. and his Aunts, Sharen Hiester and Annamarie Gopear.
Gope was a 1996 graduate of Red Land High School, Lewisberry. As a youth, he was a very talented football player and was a fan of the Cleveland Browns, Indians, and Cavaliers and also, the Ohio State Buckeyes. He worked at Baer Care Property Maintenance, Lewisberry, and took great pride in his work.
In addition to his parents, surviving are his brother, Dennis C. Gopear II and his wife, Diana, of Lewisberry; three nieces and two great nieces and many caring family members.
Grave side services will be held at 2:30 PM Friday in Tri-County Memorial Gardens, Newberry Twp.
