Bryan L. Watson, Jr. 89, of New Cumberland died peacefully in his sleep, Thursday, July 14, 2016 at his home.
He was retired from an aviation command position at Letterkenny Army Depot. Previously he worked as a Production Controller at the former New Cumberland Army Depot. He was a Navy veteran of WWII. He was a member of Christian Life Assembly where he was involved in a variety of church activities. He loved anything to do with aviation, raising English Springer Spaniels, travelling in his motor home, and he had a very creative, inventive spirit. He was very dedicated to his wife and loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren.
He was born February 13, 1927 in Pittsburgh to the late Bryan Leslie and Susan (Rosenberry) Watson, Sr. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Frances L. (Wilhelm) Watson and two sons, Scott D. and Stephen R. Perry.
He is survived by his wife Peggy L. Watson; two sons, Bradley L. Watson (Cathy) of New Cumberland and Jeffrey L. Perry (Jennifer) of New Cumberland; a daughter, Susan E. Bubb (Stephen) of New Cumberland; two sisters, Ruth Bramer of Washington and June Primorich of Finleyville; and seven grandchildren, Sean, Matthew, Kevin, Adam, Justin, Jayden, and Jordan.
Visitation will be from 10 am until memorial services at 11 am Friday, July 29, 2016 at Christian Life Assembly. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
