Carl R. Burd

Carl R. Burd, 65, of Camp Hill, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023 in Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center, East Pennsboro Twp. following a long battle with several health issues.

He was a 1976 graduate of West Perry High School, a retired store manager with New Bloomfield Food Rite and formerly a sales associate with Forbes Chevrolet, Camp Hill and Lawrence Chevrolet, Mechanicsburg.

Carl was born in Harrisburg, the son of the late Lewis and Sara (Leigh) Burd.  In addition to Lewis and Sara, Carl was preceded in death by his father Carl McNaughton and a brother.

He is survived by his wife of more than 22 years, Carol (Bretz) Burd and seven brothers and sisters.

Carl loved his wife dearly; he loved his dogs, Taz, Ming and Tang; and he loved his beloved Los Angeles Rams.

In keeping with Carl’s wishes, there will be no services.
