Carl E. Dunleavy

Carl E. Dunleavy, 83, of Lower Paxton Twp., Harrisburg, died Wednesday, July 17th, 2013 at Community General Hospital, Lower Paxton Twp.

He retired after 40 years as a Conductor for Conrail and was an Army veteran of the Korean War and an avid cyclist and hiker. Born on August 17, 1929, in Elizabethville, he was the son of the late Charles and Jenny (Klinger) Dunleavy.

Surviving are his wife, Shirley V. (Shifflet) Dunleavy and two sons, Kevin S. and Brad C., both of Harrisburg.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
