Carol A. Leiphart

Carol A. Leiphart, 69, of Lewisberry, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday morning, September 13, 2020. She is the daughter of the late Douglas and Inez (Kumpf) Buffington, born April 22, 1951 at Seidle Memorial Hosp., Mechanicsburg.

Carol was a 1969 graduate from Trinity High School, Camp Hill. She started her 32-year career at PNC Bank, where she retired as a Client Solutions Specialist for the Financial Services Group. Outside of work, Carol was a quiet person who enjoyed being with her husband and family, keeping a nice home, and spending time with her beloved dogs, which have long been Doberman Pinschers. She enjoyed gardening as she had a green thumb for growing flowers and vegetables; she was also an avid book reader. Carol will be missed by many, including her beloved dog, Ripley.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Timothy J. Leiphart; siblings, Richard Buffington of The Villages, FL, Robert Buffington of New Cumberland, Lois Eckerd of New Cumberland, and Barbara Buffington of Lemoyne; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
