Carolyn L. Allen

Carolyn L. Allen, 60, of New Cumberland, formerly of Michigan died Monday, October 1, 2018 surrounded by loving family at her home.

She was a retired Executive Administrative Assistant from DLA, New Cumberland. After retirement, Carolyn started her own business, Tatted Sentiments, where she created and sold tatted works of art. She loved her craft, her dog Cooper, spoiling her grand-babies, and spending time in Florida with her parents.

She was born July 7, 1958 in Battle Creek, MI and survived by parents Richard A. and Juanita L. DeBolt. In addition to her parents, she is survived by two daughters, Courtney Plank and Jenna Allen both of New Cumberland; two granddaughters, Sophia and Lillian Plank; a sister, Deborah Price (Stewart) of Battle Creek, MI; and a brother, Wally Barbee of Hastings, MI.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5pm Friday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Additional services will be held in Michigan. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central PA.
