Carolyn Jo Waterfield, 63, of Lewisberry, PA passed away on February 7, 2025 at home. She was a beloved mother, mimi, and friend. Carolyn was born on August 13, 1961 in Harrisburg, PA to Charles Bleyer, III and the late Winifred (Huggins) Bleyer.
Carolyn's journey through life was marked by her vibrant spirit and her deep love for her family and friends. She began her career as a beautician after attending beauty school, showcasing her creativity and passion for making others feel their best. Ultimately, she found her calling as a school bus driver and later a driver for MEPs.
In her younger years, Carolyn lit up the stage as a baton twirler and cultivated a love for swimming, travel, and sun-soaked days at the beach. She was an enthusiastic fan of the Buffalo Bills and delighted in attending concerts, where she would immerse herself in the joy of live music. A passionate reader, she particularly adored Danielle Steele novels, often escaping into the worlds they created. Carolyn was also renowned for her culinary skills, especially her mouthwatering deviled eggs, which were a favorite at family gatherings.
Carolyn leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to flourish through her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Ryan Gordon and Lukas (Daisha Yates) Waterfield; daughter, Ashley Gordon; father, Charles (Joyce Myers) Bleyer, III; brother, Charles (Heather Thorn) Bleyer IV, and eight cherished grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Winifred Bleyer and a son, Connor Waterfield.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 10 AM - 12 PM at Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lewisberry, PA, the funeral will follow immediately after. Burial will take place at Tri-County Memorial Gardens.
