Cathy Jean Wolfe, 71, of York Haven passed away on September 12, 2024 at Harrisburg Hospital. She was born on March 10, 1953, in Mechanicsburg, PA, to the late Lewis and Doris (Gross) Fogle. Cathy's radiant spirit touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her passion for creativity shone through in her talents for painting, drawing, and ceramics, bringing beauty and joy to those around her. Cathy found immense joy in the arts, regularly attending musicals and plays at Dutch Apple Theater. Family was paramount to Cathy, and she cherished every moment spent with her husband Michael, children Elizabeth and Christopher, and grandchildren Sullivan, Laney, and Keaton. She found pure delight in the laughter and love shared within her family circle. Community involvement was a significant part of Cathy's life, with her active participation at Paddletown St. Paul United Methodist Church events and the Berg Electronics Retirement Club. Her strong sense of camaraderie and dedication to others left an indelible mark wherever she went.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Wolfe; a daughter, Elizabeth (Cory) Creek; son, Christopher (Shala) Wolfe; grandchildren, Sullivan, Laney, and Keaton; brothers, Lewis (Ann) and Todd Fogle; sisters, Tena (Gerald) Wolfe and Nicole Taylor; and several loved nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her daughter, Rachael Wolfe.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024 from 10 – 11 AM at Parthemore Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow immediately with Pastor Ryan Whisel officiating, burial will take place at Tri-County Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions are requested in lieu of flowers to Cathy’s church, Paddletown St. Paul United Methodist Church.
