Cecelia D. Homcheck, 88, of Camp Hill, died suddenly Saturday, April 12, 2014 at her residence.
She was a seamstress in the former garment factory in Mt. Carmel; a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland and its Little Flower Club; New Cumberland Golden Age Club; AARP; and a former member of the West Shore Branch YMCA.
Cecelia was born in Wilburton, Columbia County, PA to the late Michael and Stephanie (Wojack) Zinda.
She was the widow of Joseph B. Homcheck and is survived by her daughters, Nancy M. Homcheck of Camp Hill, Victoria Weger and husband Donald of Egg Harbor Twp., NJ and Peggy A. Homcheck of Camp Hill; a brother Joseph Zinda of Mt. Carmel; and three grandchildren, Betsy, Lindsay and Joanna. Her family meant everything to her and she meant everything to them.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 pm on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 in her church. Visitation will be from 12:30 – 1:30 pm Wednesday in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial will be beside her late husband in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Upper Allen Twp.
