Charles A. Harbold

August 8, 1931 — June 27, 2018

Charles A. Harbold, 86, of Cumberland Crossings, Carlisle, formerly of New Cumberland, died Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at the retirement center.

An Army veteran of the Korean War, he retired as Chief Warrant Officer 4 from the Army National Guard, Washington, DC. After retiring, he worked at AAA in Camp Hill for over 20 years. He was a member of Baughman Memorial United Methodist Church, New Cumberland.
He was born August 8, 1931 in Fairview Twp. to the late Charles A. and Alice R. (Miller) Harbold. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Clara Wright and Betty Fry.

He is survived by his wife, Sara Ellen Williams Harbold; three sons, Alan A. (Tracey) of Lancaster, Scott E. (Tina) of Camp Hill, and Daniel C. (Susan) of Harrisburg; a sister, Maureen (Harbold) Anderson of Mechanicsburg; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, from 11:30AM until funeral services at 12:30PM, at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Burial with military honors will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 897, Hershey, PA 17033 or to the Alzheimer’s Association - Greater PA Chapter, 2595 Interstate Dr., Ste. 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
