Charles Herbert "Herb" Sprinkle

Charles Herbert “Herb” Sprinkle of Dillsburg died Sunday, March 29, 2020 at UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg Hospital.

He was retired from Mold-Base Industries, Harrisburg. He loved bluegrass music, camping, car races, being near the water, working with his hands and, beyond measure, his family.

He was born July 13, 1937 in Owings Mills, MD to the late Charles A. Sprinkle and Bernice(Thompson) Still. He was also preceded in death by a brother Jake.

He is survived by a son, John Charles Sprinkle of Tucson, AZ; three daughters, Penny L. Sprinkle of New Cumberland, Peggy J. Simmons of Williamsburg, and Melanie A. Semrau of Annville; two sisters, Elizabeth Melton of Westminster, MD, and Shirley Pollock of Finksburg, MD; two brothers, Mick of Hampstead, MD and Bob of Biglerville, PA ; grandchildren Erin, Cayla, Dalton, Emma, Andrew and Cyrus and four great-grandchildren Kenzie, Ash, Conner and Lincoln.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to St Jude’s Childrens Hospital.
