Charles J. Mitchell

Charles J. Mitchell, 70, of New Cumberland died Saturday, February 7, 2015 at his home.
A decorated Marine Corp Veteran of Vietnam, he was a retired Caster from Arcelor Mittal Steel Company, Steelton. He was a Devil Dog and recipient of two Purple Hearts. A 1962 graduate of Milton Hershey High School he was a lifetime member of New Cumberland Fire Department and American Legion Post 143, New Cumberland.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl D. Mitchell; four children, Christine N. Shultz (Gary) of Millerstown, Amy Lynne Weller (Donald) of Mechanicsburg, Tommy E. Mitchell of New Cumberland, and Thomas E. Quaca of Elizabethtown; two brothers, John L. (Charlene) of Enola and Don Mitchell (Pam) of East Berlin; five grandchildren, Brett, Rob, Dustin, Alexander, and Katie; and two great-grandchildren, Logan and Isabella.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
