Charles S. Miller, Sr.

Charles S. Miller, Sr., 93, of Oak Hill Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, Middletown, formerly of Dauphin was carried by angels to heaven to be with  Jesus on March 2, 2023.

Charles was born November 2, 1929 in Lock Haven to the late John William and Sara Elizabeth (Hibbler) Miller.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty M. (Zakis) Miller; son, Charles S. Miller, Jr.; and siblings, Ronald, Robert, and Frank Miller, and Joyce Tracey.

Charles was a graduate of Brentwood High School, Pittsburgh, PA and a retired salesman with Butter Krust Baking Company, Sunbury.   He attended Middletown First Church of God and was a member of Stone Glen Church of God, Dauphin.

He was a devoted husband and father who loved his family.  He was a member of Susquehanna Iris Society having raised over four hundred varieties with his wife in their back yard.  He was a member of West Shore and New Cumberland Horseshoe League.

Surviving is his daughter Cheryl S. Stroud and her husband Gary of Harrisburg.

Visitation will be from 10am until memorial services at 11am on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at Middletown First Church of God. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either church or Oak Hill Center Benevolent Fund, 1020 N. Union St., Middletown, PA 17057.
