Charles Nissley Hoak, Jr., 75, of Camp Hill, died Wednesday, May 22, 2013 in the Carolyn Croxton Slane Residence of Hospice of Central PA, Susquehanna Twp.
He was a retired Marketing Manager for Davenport’s Restaurants, Inc., a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and currently was co-owner/operator with his wife Beverly of Pet Patrol Pet Sitting Services.
Charles was born in Harrisburg to the late Charles, Sr. and Dorothy (Dickman) Hoak.
He is survived by his wife of more than 57 years Beverly J. Hoak; three daughters, Victoria Hoak Martin of Orlando, FL, Leslie Jean McCool of Etters and Danielle Beth Eby of Camp Hill; a sister Susan Lynn Gahres of New Cumberland; five grandsons, Kevin, Jeffrey, Ryan, Adam and Ben; and four great grandchildren, Fallon, Adrian, Ashton and Brooklyn.
Charles loved working in his yard and walking his beautiful Chows past Misha and present beloved CC.
At Charles’ request there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers and to honor Charles’ memory, memorial contributions may be made in his name to The American Cancer Society, Capital Area Unit, 2 Lemoyne Drive, Suite 101 Lemoyne, PA 17043 and/or Carolyn Croxton Slane Residence of Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Rd. Harrisburg, PA 17110.
