Charles Paul Levarto

Charles Paul Levarto, 80, of New Cumberland, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 in Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.

He was a retired Handler with the Navy Ships Parts Control Center, Hampden Twp. and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Charles enjoyed metal detecting, fishing, boogie boarding, collecting old bottles, playing cards, the circus and loved nature.

He was born in Harrisburg to the late Charles Lee and Margaret Elizabeth (Godshall) Levarto. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Jodi Bortner.

Charles is survived by his children, Dawn M. Levarto (Shawn) of Camp Hill and Todd A. Levarto of New Cumberland; a brother Thomas of Elliottsburg, PA; and granddaughters, Katie Wilson and Sara Wolford.

A private graveside service will be held in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.
