Charles T. “Chuck” Greiner, 84, of Camp Hill died Monday, January 30, 2023 at Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center.
A graduate of West Coast University, Los Angeles, he was a retired Electronics Engineer from the Federal Government. He was recognized by the Secretary of Defense serving during the Cold War, 1945 – 1991 promoting peace and stability in our Nation. He was also recognized by the IBM Global Business Services of the US Postal Service. He also worked with Information Systems of Fether River Railroad, CA; and was a Real Estate Agent in Santa Ana, CA for many years.
He was an Amateur Radio Operator; member of Assn. of Radio Amateurs of Long Beach, CA, Queen Mary Seaport; International Amateur Radio Union; and American Radio Relay League, Century Club, communicating to over 100 countries. He served on Orange County Dept. of Commerce, Economic Development and Lower Allen Twp. Civil Service Commission, Cumberland County.
An Army Veteran he served in Vietnam and other parts of the world. He was a lifetime member of Masonic World Lodge 105, F&AM of the Philippines, R.W. Grand Lodge F&AM of Pennsylvania, Order of DeMolay, Al Birat Chapter, Provo, UT. He was an Eagle Scout.
He was the widower of Ruth Ellen Greiner.
Private committal service with Military Honors will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
