Christine Ann Nauss, 66, of Camp Hill, passed away peacefully at Holy Spirit Hospital on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, with her family by her side. She was the daughter of Bruce P. Costello and the late Joan (Vanalman) Costello, born on August 16, 1958, in Harrisburg.
Chris was a graduate of Cumberland Valley High School (’76) and would remain in South Central PA her entire life. She spent a majority of her working years with Camp Hill Plaza Apartments where she headed the cleaning staff.
She routinely put others first, worrying about the needs of others long before considering her own. Chris was a 25+ year member of the ladies auxiliary with American Legion Post 984 – West Fairview and also served as a board member for a number of those years. She enjoyed both the duties and social aspects of being part of this organization. She had a beautiful smile and an extensive hat collection, she always had the radio tuned to Country music, and her friendly personality allowed her to strike up a conversation with anyone. Chris loved her family dearly, especially her children, and she found a wonderful partner and supporter in her significant other, Gino. Her genuine and upbeat spirit will be missed.
Surviving Christine are her children, Dana Costello (Joey Curley) of Knoxville, TN, and Devin Nauss (Tanica) of New Cumberland; grandchildren, Bryson, Braylon, Alexis, Madilynn, Ella and Skyla; her father, Bruce P. Costello of New Cumberland; sisters, Kim Fissel (Robert) of York Haven, Patricia Clancy (Patrick) of Carlisle, and Teresa Costello (Gordon Fusik) of Orlando, FL; and her life partner of 35 years, Gene Milisavic.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-4PM on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the United Methodist Church of West Fairview, 1201 2nd Street, Enola, PA 17025. Please find parking and the entrance to the church on 2nd Street.
