Christopher S. Deardorff

Christopher S. “Buzz” Deardorff, 39, of New Cumberland, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015.

He was a manager for Palumbo’s Italian Eatery, Harrisburg and a graduate of Mechanicsburg High School. Chris was a musician, more specifically a guitarist and drummer, who loved music and played in several local area bands. His loyalty and friendship to others garnered him an extended family that reached far beyond his relatives.

Chris was born in Mechanicsburg to Jerry L. and Barbara (Seaman) Deardorff, both of Mechanicsburg.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife Jessica N. (Kautz) Deardorff; his daughter Josephine G. Deardorff; his maternal grandmother Alice Seaman; his sisters, Kelly Palumbo and husband Anthony, Tessa Deardorff, Annie Deardorff and Abby Deardorff; and a nephew Julian Palumbo.

A Celebration of Chris’s Life will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Visitation with family will begin at 10:00 am.
