Claire F. Foster, 67, of Etters, died Saturday, July 20, 2013 in the Carolyn Croxton Slane Residence, a service of Hospice of Central PA.
She was a legislative aide for the PA State Insurance Department, Harrisburg and attended local Lutheran Churches. She loved gardening and vacationing in Cape May, NJ. She was a former cheerleader advisor for the Red Land Midget Football Program; a former Brownie Troop Leader; and the first secretary and one of the original founders of the Central PA Corvette Club. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 169, York and the Goldsboro Fireman’s Club.
Claire was born in Camden, NJ to the late Walter and Gladys (Waldis) Barrick.
She is survived by her husband Warren V. Foster; two daughters, Kelly C. Gorman and husband Kevin of Lewisberry and Shannon C. Baker and husband Tyson of Etters; and four grandchildren, McKinnah Baker, Declan Gorman, Payten Gorman and Tyson V. Baker.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, July 25, 2013 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Visitation will be one hour prior to service on Thursday in the funeral home.
