Clarence Lamar Chubb

C. Lamar Chubb, Jr., 55, of Etters, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 in UPMC Pinnacle Hospital, Harrisburg.

Lamar was born in Gettysburg, PA to the late Clarence and Margie (Gingrich) Chubb.

He is survived by his wife Lucy Chubb; daughters, Alyssa Showers and husband Matt and of Lewisberry and Cassidy Chubb, at home; siblings, Lee Trayer of Marysville, Kelly Hoon of Enola, and Kristen Pool of Vermont; and four grandchildren, Arianna, Evelyn, Owen, and Imogen Showers.

He was a machinist with Pratt & Whitney, Middletown and a United States Navy veteran. Lamar was a model train enthusiast, loved music, hunting, fishing, and traveling, but more than anything, he loved his family.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Monday, February 25, 2019 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Rev. Carl Ford Peterson officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 until time of service Monday in the funeral home. Committal will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc., Philadelphia Affiliate 125 South 9th St., Suite 202, Philadelphia, PA 19107 .
