Clifford Snyder, 84, of Etters entered his heavenly home suddenly on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Holy Spirit Hospital.
A 1948 graduate of the former New Cumberland High School, he received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Penn State University, and became a teacher of mathematics for thirty-three years at New Cumberland Middle School, retiring in 1986. Additionally, Clifford served his country as a member of the Big Red 1, First Infantry Division of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was an active member of New Life Church, enjoyed reading and traveling to places such as Pigeon Forge, TN.
Born June 14, 1931 in York, he was preceded in death by his parents William and Edna (Brothers) Snyder, and by two brothers, Clair and Curvin Snyder. He is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years Zula Mae (Seifert) Snyder.
Viewing will be Friday, February 5, 2016 from 10 to 11 am followed by the funeral service at New Life Church, New Cumberland with Pastor Ronnie Riggins officiating. Burial will follow in Paddletown Cemetery, Newberry Twp.
