Constance Stepler Shatzer

Constance Stepler Shatzer, 83, of Carroll Twp., Dillsburg, went to be with her Savior on Friday, January 6, 2017, at Penn State Health, Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.

She retired as an Accounting Technician for the former New Cumberland Army Depot, New Cumberland and was a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Lemoyne. Born on January 30, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Paul R. and Marjorie A. (Bard) Stepler. Connie was the widow of Dick F. Shatzer and was also preceded in death by a son, Richard L. Shatzer.

She is survived by two sons, Randall R. of Dillsburg, and Roger F. (Shelly) of Mechanicburg; a daughter-in-law, Sherrie Shatzer of Mechanicsburg; three brothers, P. Frederick Stepler of Gaithersburg, MD, Marlin L. Stepler and James R. Stepler, both of St. Thomas; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Thursday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland, with the Rev. D. Marie Tribble officiating. Burial will be in Tri-County Memorial Gardens, Newberry Twp.

Viewing will be held 1 – 2 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
