Creedon J. Fertenbaugh

Creedon J. Fertenbaugh, 83, of Lewisberry, and formerly of Mechanicsburg, died Thursday, February 27, 2014 in Mechanicsburg.
He was a jeweler and former owner/operator of Hasko’s Jewelers, New Cumberland. He was a member of Eureka West Shore Lodge 302 F&AM, Mechanicsburg; Harrisburg Consistory, AASR; Tall Cedars Forest 43, Harrisburg; and Zembo Shrine, Harrisburg.
Creedon was born in Mechanicsburg to the late Clarence and Violet (Murphy) Fertenbaugh. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter JoAnn Dum and a sister Romayne Fertenbaugh.
He is survived by his wife of more than 60 years Armillda F. (Frownfelter) Fertenbaugh; four sons, Eric J. (Sue) of Lewisberry, Craig E. (Robin) of Jacksonville, FL, Kevin E. (Nancy) of Grants Pass, OR and Bryon L. (Joyce) of Carlisle; a brother Melvin C. Fertenbaugh of Dillsburg; and six grandchildren, Jonathan, Joseph, Kaitlyn, Madeline, Mason and Jessica.
A visitation will be held from 6-7:45 pm Friday, March 7, 2014 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. A Masonic service will conclude the evening beginning at 7:45. Graveside services will be announced and held on a future date.
In lieu of flowers, the Fertenbaugh family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made in Creedon’s name to any charity.
