Cynthia Ann “Cindy” McLuckie, 69, of Lewisberry., passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Tuesday, May 23, 2023.
She was a Registered Nurse, retired from Partners in Women’s Health, Harrisburg and currently a Supervisor with Oak Hill Village Retirement, Middletown. Cindy was a graduate of both Mt. Union High School and Polyclinic School of Nursing, Harrisburg. She was a member of Wyndamere Heights Evangelical Congregational Church, Lewisberry and the VFW Post 537 Auxiliary, Etters. Cindy was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers fan and enjoyed traveling with her husband, she especially loved warm beaches, and camping at Camp Pollock on the Juniata River with family and friends. She would do anything for anyone and was always helping someone out in one way or another. Her actions spoke to her love for everybody, at home, at work, and wherever she was needed. But more than anything, her life revolved around her family and extended family.
Cindy was born in Lewistown, PA, the daughter of the late Ernest and Louise (Morrison) Pollock. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Ernest Pollock, Jr.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, David R. McLuckie; children, David Jason McLuckie and wife Michelle of Etters, Andrew Kyle McLuckie and wife Jennifer of Middletown and Kristi Ann Hackenberg and husband Wayne of Newberry Twp.; siblings, Linda Pollock of Mt. Union and Bryan Pollock of McVeytown; and six grandchildren, David Michael, Kyle Andrew, Evan Wayne, Madison Ann, Elaina Ann and Elizabeth Grace.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, May 27, 2023 in Wyndamere Heights Evangelical Congregational Church, 736 Wyndamere Rd. Lewisberry, PA 17339 with the Rev. Timothy Seiger, her pastor officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 am until service time Saturday in the church. Burial will be in Tri County Memorial Gardens, directly adjacent to the church.
