Daniel B. Moore

Daniel B. Moore, 22, of New Cumberland, died Saturday, January 10, 2015 in New Cumberland.
He was an employee of Giant Foods, New Cumberland and a 2010 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School, Camp Hill where he was a standout running back in football receiving numerous All Star and Conference recognitions, awards and honors. Additionally, he was an avid Notre Dame and Philadelphia Eagles fan.
Dan is survived by his parents, Susan M. (Corey) Orris and husband James of New Cumberland and Michael A. Moore and wife Kate of Harrisburg; a sister Cassidy M. Moore of New Cumberland; paternal grandparents, Rosemarie and Edwin Moore of New Cumberland; step siblings, Tyler Orris, Nathan Orris, Benjamin Smith, Rachael Smith and Ryan Orris; aunt and uncle, Marcia and Larry Peters; cousins, Michelle and Heather Peters; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 6 pm on Thursday, January 15, 2015 in Baughman Memorial United Methodist Church, Third and Bridge Sts. New Cumberland with the Rev. Dr. Edwin “Win” Green officiating. Visitation will be from 4 – 6 pm in the church. Those attending the visitation and service are encouraged to please wear Notre Dame or Philadelphia Eagles attire.
